Description
WHAT: RoVent is an annual, youth-run, themed social camp with lots of fun team-based activities and awards, including a faire, a catered feast, a professionally DJ’d dance, and a siege! This year’s theme is How to Train Your Dragon, so grab your sword and shield, proudly wave your banner, and build your throwing machine. Groups will be self contained, so bring everything you’ll need to construct your own village on the beautiful hillside of Clements Peak and the nearby Brownsea Shores.
WHO: Venturer and Rover sections (aged 14+), with their Scouters (Max 300 participants).
WHEN: Friday evening to midday Sunday, September 25 to 27, 2026. Registration and camp cost will be $40. Venturers will also catered feast will also be held Saturday evening. The cost of the Feast is $35.
WHERE: Scout Camp Opemikon, on Christie Lake, just west of Perth. Camping in the Brownsea and Clements fields (first-come, first-served), activities in the Upper Orchard, and feast in the Dining Hall. Gear drop-off in the parking lot near Brownsea with limited weekend parking in the lot near the Lower Orchard.
