Camp Scout Awacamenj Mino

Since its foundation in 1955, Awacamenj Mino (an Algonquin term meaning â€˜â€˜Better than the better’’) is the biggest outdoor recreational base in the area. The campground measures 750 acres, and nearly 2 km of its territory borders Lake Isabel (also know as lac de l’ÃŽle in french). Open year-round, we are located deep in the forest at 75 km north of Ottawa-Gatineau. With our services, our activities, our wildlife and our vegetation, you are guarantied to have an unforgettable experience.
