Camp Sheldrick is located in the municipality of North Dundas in Eastern Ontario, just under an hour from Pleasant Park Public School, and only 8 minutes from Winchester. The camp is 55 acres with water access to the Nation River (via Hess Creek) for canoe tripping, groomed sites on the south side of Hess Creek, and wilderness camping coming soon on the north side of the creek. At our campground, you can enjoy the outdoors for all ages and group size. Being one of the few Scout Camps in Eastern Ontario that is fully off grid that requires you to follow the Leave No Trace camping experiences, it is a hidden gem in Scouts Canada’s Property Portfolio in partnership with South Nation Conservation. Camp Sheldrick is well known for large group camping and can handle group sizes from 10 to 500.
